ES 471/ER 412 is offered in Summer 2023 from June 24-July 2. The application deadline is February 1.
A complete application includes a brief letter indicating your interest in and preparation for the course, an informal transcript, and a resumé. Please bundle these three elements together as a single PDF file, and send to Eric Higgs ([email protected]).
The final cost for the course is still being determined, and will be shaped partly by registration numbers, Please count on up to $900 for field costs beyond tuition, which includes almost everything for the 9-day field portion as well as professional services provided by the Galiano Conservancy Association. Lorene Kennedy field course awards to offset the majority of field costs will be available for qualified ES majors, minors and RNS students. Previous years have provided a 75% award (e.g., if fee is $900 you would pay only $225). Course fee is payable up front, and award is paid at the end of term.
